1881 New York: Peter Henderson & Co, 1881. First edition. Hardcover. 410 text pages + index and 1 page of ads in the rear. 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 in. Dark Green cloth binding, gilt lettering on spine and cover. Small owner bookplate to the verso of the front cover, also a tiny bookseller sticker in the gutter of the same. Minor bumping and rubbing, else about Fine Condition. A lovely looking example of the scarce early book on horticulture.
