London: Lund Humphries. 1st printing (April 1958). 138pp + 112 plates. Original green cloth with gilt monogram to front cover. SIGNED by the author on ffep in blue ink and inscribed to British writer Philip Toynbee (1916-1981) and his then wife Sally Smith, dated April 1958 (this book was acquired from the library of his daughter Polly). GOOD copy, covers a little rubbed and worn at edges, corners bumped, spine titles dulled almost completely, light foxing to prelims, otherwise internally very good, no dust jacket . Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1958.
