Stitched printed paper wraps with Harvard crest to upper cover. Lightly creased at spine, with 1 cm split at tail; crease to lower corner of upper cover. Leaves very lightly toned otherwise a clean bright copy, with no annotation or inscriptions. A Very Good copy. No. 59 in the Library of Harvard University's Bibliographical Contributions series, a comprehensive list of books relating to Welsh-born English poet George Herbert (1593-1633). The list includes biographies of the poet, manuscripts of his poems, his collected works, and editions of "The Temple". Herbert was associated with the Metaphysical Poets and is one of the premier British religious lyricists.
