About the author

Beverly Lewis is the author of over seventy books for adults and children. Writing memorable stories set in Amish farmland brings Beverly continual joy and inspiration. Although her own family heritage is Old Order Mennonite, she has many dear friends among Amish communities in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana.
A member of the National League of American Pen Women (the Pikes Peak Branch), Beverly recently received the ECPA Gold Book Award for her novel The Covenant, and Library Journal named The Preacher's Daughter among the "Best Genre Fiction of 2005." Beverly and her family live in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies.
