The work is of exceptional interest to the student of English Literature, written as it was under the profound influence of Byron and being itself a study of the Byronic type of character." 335 pp. with appendix. Blue cloth covers with gilt title on front and spine. Cover corners and edges are bumped and rubbed, wear to cover faces with scuffing and fading. Cocked spine, spine is significantly faded from sun exposure, spine ends are rubbed and torn, edges are rubbed, long scuff mark to middle of spine. Page edges are browning. Small ex libris stamp on front free endpaper. Interior pages clean, some foxing spots and browning. Book in Good-Good+ condition.. Hardcover. Good to Good+/No Jacket. Size: Approx. 4 3/4" x 7 1/2". Russia.
