On the endpapers there are the family members of the Herries family for the four books. Green coloured cloth covered boards with blue coloured titles to the back strip. The omnibus of the author's family saga starring the Herries family from the 19th through to the 20th centuries. This book is showing age and use. Softening and a little fraying of the back strip edges which also shows staining, fading and foxing. Bumping of the book corners with a little fraying also present. Stains to the lower edge and top right hand corner of the front panel and to the lower right hand corner of the rear panel. Sun fading to the rear panel and there is pale tanning to the text block edges with foxing also present. Age toning of the pages. Handling marks, offset tanning and faint foxing to the endpapers. A few foxing spots to the first you and last few pages of the book the top corner of pages 1480 to the end of the book have become dogeared. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
