Hardcover half-leather binding with marbled paper-coverd boards; slightly rubbed at extremities, with significant lightening of spine, verly slight crackling, and lacking spine labels. Original maroon cloth spine panel bound in following text. Contains a frontispiece, two maps on a single plate, and a fold-out map following text; minor repair to creases. Previous owner's name "Owen F. Aldis" neatly on front endpaper, and bookplate "Ex Libris Aldis" neatly on front paste-down endpaper. A few minor thumb-creases to several page edges.
