Illustrated with 10 plates, pp 255. some foxing thoughout, pages 14/15 browned from a stored paper, slightly cracked hinges throughout, two plates may have been loose at one stage as their outer margins are slightly frayed, two signatures and a short presentation note on front endpaper, red cloth a bit worn and frayed, the spine is more worn and fraying at the head and tail, a tiny indentation half-way down the spine and a small piece missing at the base leading to a partial loss of the word "Witherby".
