A practical bibliography and brief literary estimate of outstanding American books. Gilt particulars in gilt compartments to spine; five raised bands to spine; top edge gilt; fore and lower edges deckled; marbled endpages. Ex-library, with markings to half-title and top edge of text block. Remains of sticker to rear pastedown and last free endpaper. Boards are clean, with moderate wear to edges. Binding is tight and square.
