Self Published. NF/VG+. 1977. 1st Edition. Hardcover; 1st Printing. In near fine condition with almost no usage showing. Green covers with crisp gold lettering on spine. Text is clean/tight except for some pale foxing on some pages. Front and rear endpapers show the street map of Highmarket (also spelled High Market) business districts. Quite a few b/w photos showing the Little Chirch, James H. Dolan, Father James A. McKenna, Cornelius Sullivan, the mill, etc. This is a collection of facts, fables and fancies as a review of Highmarket. The author thanks the many descendants of old Highmarketeers. Also he is grateful to the Boonville Herald for giving him access to the newspaper's files and also to Huldah Wendt and the New York Conservationist magazine for letting him use their maps, pictures, etc. DJ in very good plus condition with a few minor recently repaired tears at the top edge of the DJ spine.
