Author preface, contents, text of the Hippocratic Oath, map of ancient Greece, 13 chapters grouped into sections: "Physician, Who Are You?", "To What are Physicians Committed?", and "In what way are Physicians Accountable?"; afterword, timeline, appendices. Notes passim, bibliography, index. Condition notes: a very good copy, inscribed by the author on the title page to a person listed in the acknowledgements. Binding tight and ever so slightly off square; light wear to boards and dj; but for inscription, interior unmarked and bright. Slight imperfection to rear pastedown/endpaper from relic adhesive (slight tears at edges). We personally inspect every book we offer.
