Frontis engraving of George III. A further eleven engraved plates across the two volumes. The frontis of Volume 2 is an attractive map of Great Britain by Tardieu. This in very good condition. Internally clean, with a touch of foxing and darkening. An attractive copy of this set. Text in French. viii, 436, 420 pp. 170 x 100 mm (6¾ x 4 inches). Deux tomes. Première édition. Plein cuir. Titres dorés sur les tranches et le dos. Un peu de frottement à la colonne vertébrale avec un peu de décoloration. Demi-titre. Gravure Frontis de George III. Onze autres planches gravées sur les deux volumes. Le frontis du tome 2 est une jolie carte de la Grande-Bretagne de Tardieu. Celui-ci en très bon état. Intérieur propre, avec une touche de rousseur et d'assombrissement. Un bel exemplaire de cet ensemble. Texte en français. viii, 436, 420 pages 170 x 100 mm
