This is an extensive volume on the history of the British butterfly, including the Swallow-Tail, Brimstone, Large White, Holly Blue and many other species. With seventy two colour plates.Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, with some splitting to the head of the spine and bumping to the tail of the spine. Some light marks to the boards. Previous owner bookplate to the front pastedown. Front hinge starting, though holding well enough. Pages 113 held by one thread. Internally, generally firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Good
