Though this work was well received, his best known historical work is 'The Second World War'.The Chartwell edition. In the original publisher's cloth binding, Volumes II, III, and IV in the original wax paper wraps. Externally, smart. Light marks to the boards and spines. Glassine wraps are edgeworn, heavier to Volume III, with a chip to the head of spine, and smaller chips to the spines of Volumes III and IV. A little discolouration and some light marks to the wraps. Tear across the front wrap of Volume III. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Fine

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
