Toronto: McClelland and Stewart, 1956. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Complete 4 volume set (mixed). Limited Edition of 350 copies. Volumes 2,3 and 4 signed by publisher John McClelland on presentation page. (Volume one does not have this page, but is a 1956 printing) These limited editions were presented to employees of the firm at the time. This recipient being J. Meredith presented November 26th, 1956. Bound in publisher's navy cloth with blind signature of Winston Churchill on front covers. Spines are gilt ruled with labels in red. Hardcovers. Good bindings and covers with a hint of edge wear. Small blemishes boards. Volume one has a small gift inscription on the FEP otherwise all volumes have clean, unmarked pages. This is an oversized or heavy book, which requires additional postage for international delivery outside the US.
