Imperial Annals XI &XII and The Memoirs of Wang Mang, xiv+563pp,addenda. Blue cloth covered boards, ruled and lettered in gilt on the spines. A little discolouration and minor wear to covers, prior owner name partly removed from the front free endpaper of each volume, bookplates on front paste downs, some neat ink annotations in volume II, but clean and sturdy copies. Volumes I & III are first editions and volume II is a reprint, all uniformly bound in the same cloth, though cloth of volume II a little faded. 25 x 16.5cm A critical translation by Homer H. Dubs, with the collaboration of Jen T'ai and P'an Lo-chi. .
