Minneapolis-Winona: H. C. Cooper Jr. & Co, 1924. First Edition. Hardcover. Collectible Very Good. 1st printing. The original marbled boards have been retained while the book was rebound in black leather-like fabric with most of original gilt-stamped spine attached. New and appropriate endpapers. The worn cover corners were hardened/stabilized. 787pp. Illustrated with portraits of leading citizens and at least a couple of family portraits. In the rear is an Index of Illustrations and an Index of Biographies. The first 205pp are histories of towns, logging industry, schools, schools, etc. The balance of the book contains many biographies. Now nicely rebound, a very good copy. Rare.
