Robert Maclehose & Co., 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. Limited Edition. 547 pages. No dust jacket. Blue pictorial cloth covered boards with gilt to brown leather spine. Colour illustration plates and black and white maps. Additional fold-out maps at rear. Rough cut edges to textblock. No 15 of 125 copies on fine paper. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. A previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting, however text block remains firm. Sporadic spotting to plates and maps. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and light crushing and rubbing to spine. Gilt lettering remains bright and clear. Some moderate marks and staining to surfaces. Some water staining to front, rear and spine. Gilt is bright.
