Light toning to page margins in vol. I, very light browning to page margins in vol. II, very light browning to pastedowns, browning to fore-edge and bottom of text block of both volumes, vol. I maroon colour is slightly lighter, colour on top of text block of vol. II is faded and there is a water stain at at the spine, light to moderate edge wear, wrinkling at top/bottom of spines, several small corner bumps, some areas of slight foxing/colour fading on front boards, some small areas of colour loss at fore-edge of rear board of vol.
