The families included in the genealogical appendix are those identified from the 1640 town orders, tax lists of 1645, 1646, 1666 and 1672, and from a list of men with rights in the common lands as of 1668. The author was a graduate of Harvard, and served as a pastor of the church in nearby Burlington for 28 years.
