New York: Harper & Brothers, 1952. HC. very good w/very good dustjacket (hardcover) - See Note. ill. by Maurice Sendak. An Exceptionally nice copy, owners name on top front of dustjacket and on front free endpaper. Typed poem on Love, taped to rear free endpaper with one strip of tape at top. $1.50 price on dustjacket flap, teal cloth spine with paper covered boards illustrated same as dustjacket. Grr-r-r appears on page 23 next to little girl indicating later printing of the first edition. Again, an exceptionally nice copy.
