New York: Harper & Bros., 1952. First edition/2nd Printing . Small Illus. Bds W. Dj.. Charming and classic children's book with early drawings by Maurice Sendak. This is a first edition with the price intact ($1.50) and the green cloth spine. There is the Grr-r-r on the making the bed pg. which makes this a 2nd printing. A very nice clean copy with just a touch of light soiling and a small chip to the bottom of the spine panel and some light shelf wear to the edges, the boards are nice and clean. Fine/near fine.
