About This Item

London: Bloomsbury Books, 2000. 1st ed.. Hardback thick octavo, dustjacket, very good condition (in very good dustjacket), minor edgewear jacket (top spine reverse side archival tape repair), top edge foxed, pages lightly toned. 373 pp. Peter Novick discusses the history of the American post-WW2 response to the Holocaust. He posits that the promotion of the Holocaust has much to do with the insecurity of the Israeli state and of Jewishness. He also shows the revisionist chronology of the development of Holocaust discussion, as pointed out by Arthur Butz.
