New York: Harper & Brothers, 1950. Stated first edition, signed by the author on the front free endpaper. By the author of Old Yeller. Includes spiderweb patterned tissue dustjacket, unsure whether as issued or a later addition, but it does definitely have some age. Black cloth with gilt lettering, 248 pages. Very light shelfwear, good hignes, firm text block, very clean pages free from other names or markings. The dustjacket has some edgewear and minor chips.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
