A bright first edition of this book dedicated to the topographical areas in and around Tennyson's homes, with illustrations throughout. First edition. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece and nineteen colour plates. Collated complete. Concerned with Tennyson's homes at Farringford and Aldworth, and the areas surrounding them. Written by Arthur Paterson, an English writer. Illustrated by Helen Allingham, a British watercolourist and illustrator of the Victorian era. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Light fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot and light age toning to the endpapers. Very Good
