About This Item
A superb first printing of the first American edition [Alfred Knopf NY 1977]. This book was signed by the late John Le Carre in 2011 directly on the title page. The book is very clean, in near fine condition. It has a small bookseller notation on the front free end paper but it has no remainder marks, a tight and square binding, no owner inscriptions or highlighting and no staining or marking. The dust jacket is also near fine, not price-clipped ($10.95), with no creases, chips or tears and minimal shelf wear, most evident at the bottom of the spine. Now protected by a Gaylord archival jacket that is completely removable. Please do not hesitate to contact us concerning this exceptionally clean and collectible book.
