Sound and square binding in black, cloth-covered boards, with gilt titles. Corners lightly bumped. Shadow mark on the front free endpaper from a removed label. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. The dustjacket has been damp and has several ring marks on the frotn panel and is rippled. Heavy wear to the edges, corners, and spine ends, including several small tears. The reverse side of the head of the spine has been repaired with acid-free tape. Continues from the earlier published "Bygone Days of East Durham". A collection of black and white photographs, divided into subjects such as churches, education, commerce, military, etc. and which presents the early history of the town of Port Hope and the Township of Hope. (Now jointly the Municipality of Port Hope) . Numbered copy #0888. Will deliver if sold within the Municipality of Port Hope. B&W Photographs .
