Sometime in the mid-1990s, the Museum of the Horse at the Ken Horse Park opened a small art-and-photo display entitled "Women and Their Horses" Among the first to view it was an aging, silver-haired member of both the museum's supporting foundation and controlling board, the Horse Park Commission.
