About the author

Susan Haines has lived in Midhurst, West Sussex since 1983. She graduated with a BA honors degree in Geography from London University. Her interests include choral signing, organ playing, art, and genealogy--she has traced her paternal roots back to two Protestant Lewes martyrs of 1557. Another of her recent publications is based on letters written by a great-uncle during the First World War.
