New York, NY: The Macmillan Co., 1941. Hardcover. Good/None. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. G/N, used, hc, brown textured binding with gilt text to spine and upper. Gilt fading. 778 pages. Interior clean, binding tight. Former owners name and inscription on front paste-down. There is a pasted in list of "other books by L. H. Bailey" on the ffep. There is a series of stamped blue number to the bottom of the ffep butr no idea what they mean if anything. Slight shelf wear to exterior.
