London: W.T. Sherwin, 1820. Hardcover. The sixth edition of Lord Byron's first volume of poetry. An unauthorized publication, it was suppressed at the order of Lord Eldon. The Myrtle A. Crummer, Frank J. Hogan, Sylvan Lawrence Froelich copy, with their respective bookplates to the front pastedown. 160 p. Octavo. Later brown paper-covered boards, with a printed paper spine label and new endpapers. Lacking the frontispiece. Faint offsetting to the title page, with a closed to the bottom edge that has been neatly mended on the verso. Housed in a custom chemise and calf-backed slipcase, which is darkened along the spine.
