Clean & tight, solid volume. Blue cloth with black panel on spine, silver titles. The upper spine edge has a yellow mark and the lower spine has a light stain mark. Text clean and unmarked, no tears, lightly toned. Attractive bookplate on paste-down. Vincent Sheean, American journalist and foreign correspondent in Europe in th 1930s examines two major war fronts, Africa and Italy. He is critical on the policies in Italy and provides an analysis and defense of the policies of North Africa and deGauole. He also covered the years before the war and after in France and Germany.
