About This Item

Hurst & Company, S.a. . Hardcover. Good. Judging from the Edwardian hat and blouse of the lovely color image stamped on the front board with Art Nouveau floral decoration this is an early printing of the 1900 first ed.; 247 p., plus ads, clean and unmarked anywhere on strong paper only mildly age-toned; binding tight; in absence of d.j. the clean unfaded boards are lightly bumped on corners, slightly rubbed at crown of spine. The gilt lettering is still bright on spine but there is a faint stain near lower edge.
