Half bound in brown leather over cloth covered boards. Rubbed spine ends with slight tear at heel. Corners turned in with some loss. Cover detached at front end papers. Marbled text block edges. Clear finger marks especially on early pages. Previous owner's name on front free end paper. Volume 2: numbering continued from Vol. 1 1106pp, with circa 400 in text black and white illustrations and a number of colour plates. Half bound in brown leather over cloth covered boards. Rubbed spine ends, corners turned in with some loss. Cloth pulled away from board on verso. Marbled text block edges. Clear finger marks especially on early pages. Previous owner's name on front free end paper. Small 4to. 2 volumes. A large and heavy set which will incur an additional charge for overseas delivery.

Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the board. Front joint starting but reasonably firm. Front hinge tender but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Age toning to the endpapers. Contemporary ink inscription to the endpaper and title page. Good
