A very smart signed first edition of this novel following Sarah Undridge, recounting her one hundred years of life. The first edition of this work.Signed by the author to the half title page. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. In the original cloth binding. Written by Welsh author and journalist, Howard Spring, this novel is the protagonist Sarah Undridge's recount of her hundred years of life, such as the opening of Crystal Palace by Queen Victoria when she was three. As Sarah experiences war after war, we see London's falling through her eyes, but Sarah's faith in life remains. In the original cloth binding. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent with slight bumping to the head and tail of spine. Dust wrapper is edge worn with light spotting and handling marks to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd spot to the first few leaves. Near Fine
