[a beautiful copy, with no discernible wear to either book or jacket, although the jacket does have an infinitesimal nick at the bottom edge of the rear panel (now protected and concealed by a new mylar jacket cover, such that you'd never have noticed it if I hadn't mentioned it)]. (B&W photographs) SIGNED by the author on the front endpaper. The screenplay for the Academy Award-winning 1941 film, "accompanied by Mr. Dunne's own sharply observed and evocative essay on the film's making and aftermath." The trade edition was limited to 1000 copies; also issued were an additional 250 copies of a special edition, signed by both Dunne and Roddy McDowall (whose portrait photo of Dunne appears on the rear jacket panel).
