About This Item

Cincinnati, OH: Writer's Digest Books, 2001 Created originally as a reference for mystery and crime writers and reporters, this book is an interesting and entertaining read for just about anyone. It is a compendium of relatively contemporary articles by various authors on crime, criminal justice, forensics, street cops and gangs, drugs and drug enforcement, hate crimes, etc. This copy is a first printing, first edition, a trade paperback with light card covers, about 6 x 9 inches, with 404 pages including b & w illustrations and an index. Front cover graphics include a corpse, a shadowy face, and a couple of fingerprints. Back cover shows white printing against green background. Covers show very slight curve but no tears, creases bumping or other surface wear. Text is clean, complete and unmarked -- no underlining or highlighting. Overall, a very nice reading, reference copy.
