New York: Harcourt, Brace and Co., 1943. Bound in the publishers original salmon coloured cloth with black title lettering and line drawing to the spine and black line drawing to front board. There are two neat ownership inscriptions to the front endpaper otherwise the 291 pages are in fresh, clean condition throughout and are squarely bound to spine. The binding has very slight wear to the edges and signs of handling otherwise near fine. Excellent line drawings by Don Freeman supplement the text. Housed in the distinctive dustwrapper which remains vivid and bright with excellent colour tone. Slight wear and chipping mainly to top and bottom of spine otherwise the dustwrapper is in very good condition. Protected in a removable Brodart sleeve to preserve its present condition. Book sits square and solid. The photograph supplied is a picture of the book and the dustwrapper and we are happy to send more images at your request. An attractive book throughout.. First Edition.
