New Directions, 1984. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. With autobiographical notes by the author and an introduction by William H. Gass. The hardbound edition (issued simultaneously with the softbound edition) consisted of only 750 copies, most of which went into library collections. First edition (first printing). A Very good copy in a Very Good dustjacket. DJ has shelfwear, toning, and edgewear. Book has edgewar, smudges on the edges of the text block, a remainder mark on the bottom of the text block, and minor sunning to the covers. Interior is tight, clean, and unmarked.
