New York: Lane & Scott, 1850. 16mo (16cm). In contemporary full black leather binding, tooled in gilt with elaborate frame to both boards, all edges gilt, with personalized brass clasp engraved with the name "L. Troxel"; green marbled endpapers; 752, 48pp. With a contemporary pencil ownership inscription to rear flyleaf: "Mrs. L. H. Troxell, 96 West 4 St, Williamsport, Pa." A handsome binding, mildly rubbed, with bright, functioning clasp; internally foxed, with minor water stain to top margin of first 40 leaves, not affecting the binding, which is tight and sturdy: Very Good.
