NYC: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1973 Collection of Buchwald's satirical columns. Inscribed to previous owner on first endpaper - "To ____, I am not a crook! Art Buchwald, 1974." An August 11, 1974 Buchwald column about Paul DeLisle, the manager of the San Souci restaurant has been glued to a piece of paper, signed by Paul DeLisle to the previous owners: "To ____, my favorite Democrat Customers and Friends." 249 pp. Edgewear, slight soiling to page ends; white dust jacket is browned and chipped, with small piece missing at top spine -- now in protective mylar.
