Little, Brown & Company, 1861. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1861. No Edition Stated. 61 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Black cloth with gilt lettering. Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Contains 46 plates to rear. Pages are clean overall, with mild tanning throughout. Slightly more pronounced to edges. Small tears with minor chipping towards the gutters of front endpaper. Occasional speckles of foxing. Faint dust marks to edges of some pages. Library cards with stamps and pencil inscriptions to front pastedown and endpaper. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Splits to spine edges causing spine strip to be loose. Loss to edges and across joints. Minor loss to corners with fraying to edges. Faint markings and scratches with slight rubbing to boards. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering remains bright and clean.
