Full red ribbed cloth with gilt stamped decorative design and centered gilt illustration of Washington on the front cover, heavily worn with muted gilding, fraying of the cloht at the extremities, book is cocked and the spine is inexpertly laid down. Frontispiece of George Washington. Pages are age-toned and lightly foxed. No foldout plate of Mount Vernon (if it was issued with this edition). Overall a READING or BREAKING copy. Worth the money for the hand colored plates. Photos available upon request. . First Edition. Full Cloth. Poor. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
