In Fraktur German, it would have been printed for the Pennsylvania Dutch (German) residents of that state. Lots of illustrations, index. Illustrated paper-covered boards with cloth spine. Boards have edgewear, soiling; endpapers have former owner's name and light soiling; bit of foxing on text pages, otherwise, clean; binding sturdy. .
