Inscribed "Dear C.D. [Wright] & Forrest [Gander]/ With Best Wishes/ [and signed] Jacque". Wright and Gander are award-winning poets. Card with poem enclosed, also signed by the poet. Attractive book: letterpress printed on Mohawk Superfine. Fine in a very good fragile tissue wrapper printed on the spine only (in removable protective archival cover). Hoefer was a major patron of the arts in San Francisco.
