The author, Charles Richet, was the winner of the Nobel Prize for Physiology in 1913. Translated from the French by Lloyd Harvey. . The volume shows only slight shelf-wear along the bottom edge, else fine: unmarked, unread, tight, square, and clean. The unclipped dust jacket (now in Mylar), is lightly sunned with a closed tear at the heel, else very good. NEAR FINE/GOOD. . 8vo 8" - 9" tall. 150, (8-adverts) pp .
