About the author

PAUL M. EDWARDS is Dean of the Graduate College of Park College in Parkville, Missouri and founder and Executive Director of the Center for the Study of the Korean War in Independence, Missouri. His doctoral degree is in transatlantic history from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He is a specialist in Korean military and bibliographical history, and his most recent books include The Pusan Perimeter, Korea, 1950: An Annotated Bibliography and General Matthew B. Ridgway: An Annotated Bibliography, both published in 1993 by Greenwood Press.
