London: Methuen, 1952 Reprint of third edition. HB. Green cloth and pictorial dustjacket. 503pp. Maps to endpapers, and 17 b&w photos and illustrations in plates. The author's life as an Independent MP from 1935, his successes and failures told in his usual self-deprecating humourous way, and other activities such as travel, sailing and being part of Thames Naval patrols in wartime. A very nice copy: Fine book in Very Good jacket. A little light spotting to closed top edges, jacket price-clipped with light rubbing to edges and some colour fade to red titles on spine.
