Text clean, light even toning, some light to moderate foxing or minor soiling in places. Moderate shelf handling wear. 16mo; 6.25 inches tall. Engraved tissue-guarded frontispiece in the first volume. 2 volumes. Later printing.. Thatcher was a Boston antislavery leader, opposed the policies of Garrison and urged African repatriation.
