Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1968. (USA) 1st printing. No markings, just a hint of rubbing to foot of spine, otherwise Fine in Good dust jacket with slight rubbing to edges of black dust jacket. Umber cloth, 142pp, maps, B&W photos of locales, 34 full-colour tipped in plates. John Kenneth Galbraith once said he accepted the post of Ambassador to India becasue he wanted to delve into the study of Indian painting. He collaborated with Randhawa who researched the chronicles that describe the setting of the paintings. Galbraith then arranged the information into a consecutive and fascinating story. (3.9 JM PLX 500/3. 1st. Hardcover. Fine/Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.

Books are carefully wrapped and shipped in corrugated cardboard cartons. Books are returnable for a full refund if the book is not as described.
